Adoption UPDATE: January 2015 Angel found her angel too! She is very happy with a young woman who is letting her really earn her wings so they can reach great heights as a team. We are very happy to have this young woman and her family as part of our Harmony family too. Angel is 12 years old and 14.3 Hands tall and Thoroughbred. She is very broke to ride – tattooed from her racing days- She is super sweet and easy to get along with. She was even great with beginners learning to saddle and bridle. . She carries riders at their level. She can be ridden in the arena or in the pasture . She is up to date on chiropractic care, dental work , farrier care, vet care, Vaccines and wormer. She has a tattoo so you can see her history. Would make a darling English or western horse. Could be a great gamer friend. She is nice to fences, easy in the pasture and good with dogs, cats, farm animals, atvs. She is more than ready for adoption and while we love her we know the right person is looking for her to fill their pasture and heart.
Durango seems to a be a horse that was just in the wrong place. He is said to have been a lesson horse, ridden western and english. We have copies of his registartion papers. He is a very nice horse. ADOPTED! YAY!
Castiel was donated to a college for use on their equestrian team. He was a hunter / jumper and was used as a lesson horse according to some of the information. He is a big boy at over 16 hands and he easily fits a size 84 blanket. Seems to be a very nice horse. He is a bit excitable. He rode out nice but has very thin soles. He now has front shoes on now but is showing lameness on his front right pastern. We were able to get x-rays done for Castiel and the vet found that he is navicular in that area, this is treatable with a good farrier and he would be ok for riding. If you feel you can be a sponsor for Castiel or you would like to adopt him we would like to hear from you. His adoption fee is $1200. If you would like to set an appointment to meet Castiel the number to call is 503-569-1797 or You can Email us at HarmonyNBrescue@aol.com with further questions about Sponsorship. Roman/Blinky was bought at auction and was one of the horses we adopted out on site. He has been back 3 times now and will be at the rescue to decompress for a bit. He is a registered off the track thoroughbred. He is very a interesting boy and as he gets time to get time with us we hope to have more to share about him. He was returned to us through no fault of his own. He just had his vaccines and a float as of February 20th. He is looking for a sponsor, is that you? Email us or donate in Roman’s name so that we can make sure it goes to just his care.

$500 – Dusty is up for adoption. It was said he had 60 days of professional training and was ridden on the ranch he grew up on. He is nervous about a lot of things and we do not believe he remembers being ridden but he is going to be a great riding horse and easy restart. He is up to date on every thing, 9 years old, 15 hands , He is a big boy.
Delilah is 14 years old. She is up to date on every thing. Has had her teeth done. If she gets a home offer, she has donated professional training, as True Colors Equine Farm and trainer Anja Salazar, to help her become the horse you need. She has no adoption fee. She is a big beautiful mare who just needs a chance to become your horse. She is 14 years old. about 15 hands tall. She spooks easy. I do not believe she has been trained to ride. She has gained weight well and kept it on. Can you help her have a new beginning?Video for Delilah True Colors Equine Farm Facebook Page
He is 17 years old, well trained, response to seat cues best. Side passes, moves beautiful in all three gaits. He will deal with beginners but prefers to have a rider that knows what they are doing. He is also a ham and is always in your back pocket. He has bad feet due to long time neglect but is sound. He has seen the vet, had his first trim done, and is up to date. He is just a blast to ride. We have not taken him out on trails as we need to get him some boots just to protect his feet from rocks but He seems very solid and I would ride him out on a trail no questions asked. (my body is busted up and I am slow to get on any of the rescue horses but I have had all level of riders on Toby and I have personally ridden him )
